On the night of the referendum he said if was close then there would be a rerun, that means he was expecting to lose. Of course he denied saying it even though it was on camera. He said he meant something else. When he found out he'd won he was suddenly outraged at the idea of a rerun.

In any case it looks like Brexit is finally about to come home to roost.

And he called it in 2017. A 10% swing would have nailed it. I'd say that was as good as a political prediction could be.

    No it's 58.5 to 41.5.

More importantly is that horrid fascist Putin lovin' woman standing down after her third defeat or is she going to have to be forced out?

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/politics/...rendum/results

The UK has voted to leave the EU by 52% to 48%. Leave won the majority of votes in England and Wales, while every council in Scotland saw Remain majorities. Follow latest updates and reaction.

Projections at the close of voting, which are generally reliable, showed Mr. Macron, a centrist, gaining 58.5 percent of the vote to Ms. Le Pen’s 41.5 percent. His victory was much narrower than in 2017, when the margin was 66.1 percent to 33.9 percent for Ms. Le Pen, but wider than appeared likely two weeks ago.

Maybe this will clear it up for you: The Mail is owned by the Rothermere family. The current Lord Rothermere’s father loved Great Britain so much he went to live in France as a tax exile. He then passed on the nom-dom status to his son who doesn’t actually pay the normal amount of tax despite owning a newspaper that’s owned through various tax companies in Bermuda.
